born and raised in suburban new jersey, shayna marchese moved to new york city to attend college and has lived there ever since, bouncing back and forth between brooklyn and queens. she's fascinated by the bridges and architecture and uses the city as a backdrop in her first and only ongoing comic project, voids. she works in the world of magazine publishing as a graphic designer.
